Why Kim Kardashian Is Dressing Differently

Kim is the wife of rapper Kanye West. Kim who is famous for her in-your-face sexual style, says that her husband and her experience at the White House have emboldened her to tone down her look and dress more conservatively.

Like it or not Kardashian has influenced millions of young girls in today’s highly charged sexual world. Let’s hope her change of heart sustains and she can begin to have a positive influence

Kanye, who encouraged his wife to dress sexy and show off her body, began having a change of heart and told Kim he no longer liked her dressing overtly sexy. “It was damaging his soul”

For her part, Kim recently visited her family’s homeland, Armenia, where she and her children were baptized at one of the oldest churches in the world.

Let’s keep both Kanye and Kim as well as their entire family and friends in our prayers as they continue on their journey

Victoria’s Secret Angel Says “Sex Is For After Marriage & Abortion Is A Crime”

The Brazilian model and actress Adriana Lima, best known as a Victoria’s Secret Angel from 1999 to 2018 was their longest-running model and named “the most valuable Victoria’s Secret Angel” in 2017. She is also known as a spokesmodel for Maybelline cosmetics since 2003 and for her Super Bowl and Kia Motors commercials. Lima is a devout Roman Catholic who attends Mass every Sunday. In April 2006, she told GQ that she was a virgin. “Sex is for after marriage,” she said. “[Men] have to respect that this is my choice. If there’s no respect, that means they don’t want me.” She also denounced abortion as a crime and stated that she agrees with any teaching of the church. Lima is known to bring a Bible with her backstage before she goes onstage. She has also stated that, before she became a Victoria’s Secret Angel, she had wanted to become a nun. Regarding her spirituality, Lima stated, “The church is in me — I always connect. If you’re connected with the divine and always have pure intentions with everything you’re doing, you’re protected by the angels. I’m very spiritual. I believe in nature, I believe in energy, I believe in spirits

Alyssa Milano Renounces Catholic Faith – In The End Its All About Me

Despite taking the pill, Alyssa Milano had not one but two abortions in 1993, saying it “put her in conflict with her Catholic faith.” She said her life “would be completely lacking all its great joys” had she kept her two aborted children. While she said she “was in love for the first time,” and it was an “overwhelming,” “joyful, exciting, and powerful time in my life.” She explained that she took birth control because “I knew I was not ready to be a parent.”

The Bible tells us repeatedly that all children are a gift from God. Every single life, every single child, is a reward and blessing. Whether they’re bringing parents pride and joy, or whether they are teaching us how to be more patient and forgiving, children are a gift from God and a source for the growth of His Kingdom here on Earth.

Love is life. God loved and created life. Life is a natural byproduct of love. Let’s pray for Alyssa and all others that devil has taken a grasp of; that they may find true love and joy and be set free

God knows that children can bring us closer to Him and help us grow and bring real joy; we become more of ourselves not less Alyssa sorry you don’t understand that and sorry for your loss.

Stephen Colbert & Anderson Cooper – God & Suffering

Stephen Colbert’s father and two of his brothers died in a 1974 plane crash when he was 10. Anderson Cooper’s father died of a heart attack when he was also 10 years old and his mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, died in June.

Cooper asks the comedian Colbert, you said: “What punishments of God are not gifts?”,  a quote Colbert borrowed from J.R.R. Tolkien, Do you really believe that?” Cooper asked.

Drawing further from Tolkien, who also experienced tragedy at a young age, Colbert replied: “It’s a gift to exist, and with existence comes suffering, there is no escaping that”

The Cross of Our Lord compels us to confront the dark places within us and the agonies of the human condition. Catholics do not look away from the Cross. Crucifixes are front-and-center in our churches. We wear them around our necks and hang them in our homes. They are a reminder that the Resurrection cannot come before the Crucifixion. This is just as true in our own lives as it was for our Redeemer. As Colbert so poignantly puts it “There is no escaping that”

Colbert credits his faith with helping him to work through the devastating loss, noting: “We’re asked to accept the world that God gives us and to accept it with love. If God is everywhere, and God is in everything, then the world as it is is all just an expression of God and his love, and you have to accept it with gratitude.”

Colbert also recounts how his Mother’s love for God and praying to the Blessed Mother gave her strength through that difficult time.  “She knows what it is to lose a child”

He inherited the Crucifix hanging on his wall from her.

Today we celebrate the start of Lent. Have a blessed Ash Wednesday. Love you all. 🙏❤️✝️ pic.twitter.com/dwvgePsSnc

Being a Catholic is the most important aspect of my life,” Wahlberg told the Catholic Herald. “The first thing I do when I start my day is, I get down on my hands and knees and give thanks to God. Whenever I go outside of my house, the first thing I do is stop at the church. The kids will be mad with me. ‘Daddy! It takes too long!’ I’m saying: ‘It’s only 10 minutes and this is something I really need to do.’ Because I do. If I can start my day out by saying my prayers and getting myself focused, then I know I’m doing the right thing. That 10 minutes helps me in every way throughout the day.

What Did Pope Francis Tell This Famous Hollywood Director?

Famed Hollywood director Martin Scorsese known for movies like Goodfellas, Casino and The Departed, to name just a few, recently asked Pope Francis how older people can help the younger generation cope with cruelty and violence.

The Holy Father gave the director an answer that some might find puzzling. I know I did until I began thinking more deeply.

He answered (in part): “here there is  a word that we must speak: the wisdom of weeping.

Today many of us believe crying is unhealthy, and a sign of emotional weakness. We know however,  that Jesus wept.  Jesus was a compassionate person. Don’t forget that he was totally human and divine. He had human emotions. He wept when Lazarus died. Jesus was a friend of Lazarus so he had deep grief in losing a friend, but he was also weeping for Lazarus’ family. Click here to continue reading other occasions when Jesus wept.

On a spiritual level we know that crying can help us get in touch with our feelings. By crying for suffering and violence that we witness, we can begin to feel it more deeply and not become hardened to it. Holding back tears and feelings of sorrow makes us numb and allows a distance. Crying is cathartic and brings us closer. Then we can begin to help others and find solutions.

From a medical perspective, excessive crying or crying for the wrong reasons may be a sign of trouble. But in general crying is healthy. “Crying activates the body in a healthy way,” says Stephen Sideroff, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist at UCLA

Saved By The Bell… Now Saved By Christ

“I am proud of who I am and what I am and being Catholic,” Lopez said. “I think as I’ve gotten older, I’ve just tried to build a more spiritual muscle in a business that is very unpredictable. It’s nice to have something that is consistent in our life – family and faith are that for me.”
