Why Amy Coney Barrett Proves This Rock Legend Wrong

amy coney barrett family adoption down syndromeDespite the Democrats’ anger, Amy Coney Barrett was confirmed to the Supreme Court on October 26, 2020. Barrett, a 48-year-old U.S. Court of Appeals judge nominated by President Donald Trump, fills the seat left by Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a staunch liberal and feminist icon who died Sept. 18. At age 48, Amy Coney Barrett is the youngest Supreme Court justice confirmed since 43-year-old Clarence Thomas in 1991. She is just the fifth woman ever to be named to theSupreme Court of The United States.

One might think everyone would be celebrating her appointment. Regretfully, many editorial comment sections were filled with angry and vile comments like this one.

Another religious tyrant wannabe traitor. You are filth Barrett, and so are your boy-fckjer buddies in the Catholic church.

The problem many have with her appointment is, first, she is Catholic and takes her faith seriously. Democrat Presidential candidate Joe Biden also a Catholic, supports abortion. You won’t find similar disparaging comments lodged at him. The leftist Democrats are the party of darkness and death, not light and life, as Archbishop Vigano recently wrote. They worship at the altar of abortion.

It was fitting that Justice Clarence Thomas, a Catholic and daily communicant performed the swearing-in of Mrs. Barrett, another faithful Catholic. Justice Thomas was brutally attacked during his confirmation process for being a Catholic, conservative, and pro-life, an attack led by Senator Joe Biden. The Democrats now have a history of attacking pro-life Catholic nominees.

clarence thomas swearing ceremonyThe second problem the left has with the new Justice is that she blows a big gaping hole in their whole —women need abortions to get ahead —narrative. She has 7 children, 2 of who are adopted, and one with down syndrome. Many on the left think it’s OK to kill children with Down syndrome. I can tell you first hand all children are a gift from God whether you expect them or not. I have had the pleasure of being close friends with several families who have a child with down syndrome and have witnessed the great joy they bring to their families.

Barrett will be the first female Justice to have school-aged children while serving on the bench.

Contrast Barrett with Rock legend Stevie Nicks, who recently said that without her abortion, “we would not have Fleetwood Mac.” I love Fleetwood Mac, but I would rather live in a world without Fleetwood Mac than a world without a woman like Amy Coney Barrett.  Barretts accomplished career as a law professor, federal court judge, and now Supreme Court Justice shows that you do not need to kill your children to have a successful career.

Franklin Graham Responds To Christianity Today On Trump

Christianity Today released an editorial stating that President Trump should be removed from office—and they invoked my father’s name (I suppose to try to bring legitimacy to their statements), so I feel it is important for me to respond. Yes, my father Billy Graham founded Christianity Today; but no, he would not agree with their opinion piece. In fact, he would be very disappointed. I have not previously shared who my father voted for in the past election, but because of this article, I feel it is necessary to share it now. My father knew Donald Trump, he believed in Donald Trump, and he voted for Donald Trump. He believed that Donald J. Trump was the man for this hour in history for our nation.

For Christianity Today to side with the Democrat Party in a totally partisan attack on the President of the United States is unfathomable. Christianity Today failed to acknowledge that not one single Republican voted with the Democrats to impeach the President. I know a number of Republicans in Congress, and many of them are strong Christians. If the President were guilty of what the Democrats claimed, these Republicans would have joined with the Democrats to impeach him. But the Democrats were not even unanimous—two voted against impeachment and one voted present. This impeachment was politically motivated, 100% partisan. Why would Christianity Today choose to take the side of the Democrat left whose only goal is to discredit and smear the name of a sitting president? They want readers to believe the Democrat leadership rather than believe the President of the United States.

Look at all the President has accomplished in a very short time. The economy of our nation is the strongest it has been in 50 years, ISIS & the caliphate have been defeated, and the President has renegotiated trade deals to benefit all Americans. The list of accomplishments is long, but for me as a Christian, the fact that he is the most pro-life president in modern history is extremely important—and Christianity Today wants us to ignore that, to say it doesn’t count? The President has been a staunch defender of religious freedom at home and around the world—and Christianity Today wants us to ignore that? Also, the President has appointed conservative judges in record number—and Christianity today wants us to ignore that? Christianity Today feels he should be removed from office because of false accusations that the President emphatically denies.

Christianity Today said it’s time to call a spade a spade. The spade is this—Christianity Today has been used by the left for their political agenda. It’s obvious that Christianity Today has moved to the left and is representing the elitist liberal wing of evangelicalism.

Is President Trump guilty of sin? Of course, he is, as were all past presidents and as each one of us are, including myself. Therefore, let’s pray for the President as he continues to lead the affairs of our nation.

Religious Freedom & Climate Change

On Monday, September 23rd 60 heads of state from around the globe met at the United Nations climate summit.  With headlines from around the world continuing to be filled with atrocities committed against people of faith, President Donald Trump’s decision to host a forum on international religious freedom was a first and designed to address a much more critical environment. In China for example: upwards of 3 million Muslim Uighurs have been sent to “counter-terrorism” or “re-education” camps, where they are tortured into renouncing their religion and forced to recite state propaganda and Christian communities have also been threatened by the forced demolitions of churches and the detainment of pastors and priests.

According to Open Doors 2019 World Watch Report, in just the last year, there have been:

  • Over 245 million Christians living in places where they experience high levels of persecution
  • 4,305 Christians killed for their faith
  • 1,847 churches and other Christian buildings attacked.
  • 3,150 believers detained without trial, arrested, sentenced or imprisoned

According to a new report, the climate of religious intolerance and in particular Christian persecution has never been worse at any time in history.

This was a historic meeting focused on protecting religious freedom worldwide. New initiatives were announced including a pledge of $25 million towards protecting religious freedom, sites, and relics. The US is also forming a coalition of business leaders committed to protecting religious freedom.

Trump said: “The United States is founded on the principle that our rights don’t come from government — they come from God,”

The United States is blessed to have a leader who recognizes that religious freedom as a driving force in all public policy. We are proud of the courage he demonstrates on the world stage and we applaud his leadership and efforts to get other nations around the world to join him in recognizing and protecting this fundamental human right.

Boys Wearing Dresses To School “OK…” Enforcing Immigration… That’s a Sin?

Ironic that the leader (Rev. Justin Welby) of a schismatic church (Church of England), founded by a man (King Henry VIII), seeking to divorce his wife, has the temerity to be confused as to why Christians in the United State support Donald Trump.

In recent years, prior to his elevation as Archbishop of Canterbury, the church Rev. Welby presides over has been riddled with ever great schisms from within.  Women priests, abortion, homosexual marriage are just a few. All of which the Rev. seems hard-pressed to outright condemn, instead he urges understanding, sympathy and deeper exploration of the scripture.

In an interview for the Christian Institute, Welby commented: “I am having to struggle to be faithful to the tradition, faithful to the scripture, to understand what the call and will of God is in the 21st century and to respond appropriately with an answer for all people – not condemning them, whether I agree with them or not – that covers both sides of the argument. He acknowledges dodging the question as to whether or not he thinks gay marriage is a sin.

It seems there is little Rev. Welby will outright say is wrong, except of course President Trump and his supporters. Gay marriage, female priests, abortion are all up for discussion and serious consideration, enforcing immigration… that’s a sin.

Rev. Welby has also stated that he believes:  Female ordination and sexuality are surface issues. The root of the problem lies in different views on Scripture and tradition Rev. Welby thinks real progress will come from understanding scripture.  “We have no Anglican Pope. Our authority as a church is dispersed, and is ultimately found in Scripture, properly interpreted,”.       That is the fundamental problem with any church outside of the Catholic Church, they have NO AUTHORITY

Rather than proclaiming the Christian truth on these issues, Rev. Welby is more concerned with attempting to making the Christian church fit into modern times. His focus is on ecumenism. Ecumenism is usually shorthand for —what tradition can we do away with.  When asked about a boy wearing a dress to school Rev. Welby said: “not a problem” and he seems perfectly OK with not interfering.   I for one am totally perplexed by Rev. Welby, exactly how much scripture do you have to research to know that abortion and gay marriage are a sin?
